"I was everywhere, but they couldn’t diagnose me… Now I can say with confidence that I’m fine."

The patient turned to neurosurgeon Lado Tsikarishvili and endocrinologist Nino Tedoradze at Caucasus Medical Center for a diagnosis. Following a comprehensive, multi-profile examination, the patient was diagnosed with one of the rare endocrine disorders – Cushing’s disease, characterized by elevated cortisol levels in the blood, caused by a mass in the pituitary gland.

Through surgical intervention, the tumor was successfully removed using an extracapsular technique, which allowed the surgeons to preserve the healthy pituitary tissue as much as possible and normalize hormone levels.
